The Paulus Movement is an indigenous Hungarian evangelical church-planting movement committed to obeying Christ’s Great Commission in Hungary through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training. Growing out of an evangelistic living room Bible study in 2002 the first church fellowship, Paulus Diósd, is located in the rapidly growing southwest outskirts of the Hungarian capitol of Budapest—a community of 100,000. This young church sent out a team in 2013 which resulted in Paulus Budapest, a church reaching young professionals who live in or commute to the capitol. The Paulus Movement vision is to see many more dynamic, culturally relevant, biblically based churches in Hungary.
